IELTS Writing Task 2 ( Drop-out from Schools)

Many children are dropping out of schools. Due to this, the unemployment rate is rising, and it affects our society. In your opinion, how this situation can be improved?

Several students are not completing their schooling as they drop-out in between their studies. Due to this, the employment rate has decreased, and it put to a negative effect on society. However, this situation can be remedied by making education more interesting.

To commence with, many teenagers are dropping out of schools because they do not find studies interesting and easily get bored with it. As a consequence, they do not attain the necessary education and remain uneducated. Therefore, they do not fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the companies, and the unemployment rate is burgeoning day by day. Moreover, when they do not have any work to do, they could indulge in criminal activities, and it affects society. For example, the literacy rate in the USA is quite low, consequently, many people are jobless. Thereby the crime rate is more in this nation as compared with others. Hence, it affects society when children do not gain an education.

However, this situation can be improved by creating their interest in education, and it can be done with the help of state-of-the-art gadgets such as projectors, animations and computers. These types of equipment assist in better understanding of concepts with visuals and sound effects. Besides, it makes the subjects more interesting. Furthermore, teachers can make the classes more interactive by increasing the students' participation and peer-to-peer contact in the classroom. For instance, the drop-out rate in India is quite low than in other countries because schools use the latest gadgets to teach learners. As a result, the employment rate is more in this nation. Thus, it is apparent that the strength of learners in the classroom can be maintained by making classes more engaging.

To summarise, education is essential, but an increase in drop-out rate causes lesser employment opportunities, and it negatively affects society. I believe that dropping out rate can be reduced by improving the methods of teaching.
