Is schools necessary to educate children (writing task 2)

Some people think that school are not necessary to gain knowledge because children can obtain all information from the internet. They can learn at home to get educated. To what extent do you agree with this or disagree?

With the growth in internet technology, students might learn from it by at their homes. Considering this, certain individuals believe that educational institutes are not needed anymore. I completely disagree with the notion because, in schools, learners learn according to the curriculum, and they may develop their skills while studying there.

To commence with, the schools are necessary because in schools teachers educate children as per to the syllabus made by the educational authorities. Therefore, they learn only those topics which are essential, and it saves a lot of time and efforts. Whereas on the internet, there is vast material available for a particular topic, thus by learning from it, can waste time as well as energy to reach a gist. For example, according to a survey conducted by a Newspaper, it is found that students who studied in educational institutes have a greater understanding of subjects as compared to the learners who learnt by themselves online. Hence, schools are vital to do a thorough study.

Moreover, when learners go to school, they meet with their peers and participate in the events that are organized by the institute. This practice not only enhances their communication skills but also their mental ability, which may be helpful for their future prospective. For instance, the Indian government has fixed 90 percent jobs for on-campus study learners whereas online learners can get 1 percent government jobs. Thus, on-campus education is more fruitful for the students.

To summarize, I truly believe that schools play a vital role in educating children. They can learn through guided material as well as develops their skills that are imperative to acquire a job compared to internet-based learning.
